Two ways to learn how to make bread - from the maestro himself!

Last week we sent out an email to all of our subscribers letting them know how to connect with Ben's Bread while we are on a short bread pick-up hiatus: Sourdough 101 at Whisk! This week, we're beyond proud to announce yet another place to get your bread on:  The Field Trip Society has a fantastic selection of classes and adventures, ranging anywhere from truffle hunting, to distillery tours, and even food photography. First Pickup Date: Sunday, November 8th

Thanks to everyone who has shown interest in Ben's Bread or reached out to us since we opened the site yesterday! We are off to a hot start and are selling lots of loaves to a lot of well-deserving people!  I wanted to make sure that it was very clear that the loaves that are currently for sale are for pickup not this Sunday, but the following Sunday, November 8th. We will be closing sales (if any loaves are still available) by Thursday, November 5th. With the site being brand new and all, we wanted to give people ample time to look everything over to ensure that everyone gets a great first experience with our new bakery. Introducing Ben's Bread

Friends - we did it.  Ben's Bread has been a labor of love in many ways. The goodness that comes out of Ben's oven every week is more than just flour, water, and salt. It is a marriage of time, patience, and caring, not just by us, but by the farmers, millers, and even our (hopefully ever-expanding) community of local customers. We hope you like Ben's Bread as much as we enjoy baking it. More in fact - we hope you love it. Devour it. Tell your friends about it. And if not, please let us know!
